Canned Mealworms

Freshly-preserved mealworms are exactly the same as live mealworms in terms of nutritional value and deliciousness. Mealworms are larvae of the darkling beetle Tenebrio molitor. They have a crude protein of 18.7% and are high in A and B vitamins, making them a healthy treat for your pet.

Please note that mealworms are only to be fed as a treat due to high phosphorus to calcium level.

Cans have a shelf life of up to three years unopened and come with a plastic lid for resealing after the pop-top has been opened. Cans should be stored in the fridge and used within one week after opening.
